Troi Lynn + Family . San Antonio, TX . Life

I have had the pleasure of photographing Troi Lynn and her family on more than one occasion and each time I jump at the opportunity! This sweet girl is joyful, inquisitive, lovable, determined and she takes it all in. She is a joy to capture and her adorableness is a bonus. I love capturing her and her growing curls:)Here is Troi Lynn and her family in some of my faves from the session…

Brittany + Sean . Spring Branch, TX . Wedding

Brittany and Sean’s wedding decor was like nothing I’ve seen before. I loved everything about it!! They share a love for literature and chose to center their wedding around books. Their invitations arrived in a book; the guests received welcome gifts displayed in a book; the rehearsal/welcome party featured a 7ft tall book and famous literary characters… And then there’s the wedding… books, more books, paper flowers, library cards, stunning floral, vintage typewriters, a poet writing on the spot, and more books!! You just have to see for yourself (scroll down). I loved how personalized this wedding was to Brittany and Sean and to their relationship. Congratulations to you two! It was such a pleasure to capture your big day!!

The Wedding Day…

Rochelle + Mason . Bandera, TX . Wedding

Someday, local Texans will look back at this past May and remember where they were the night of the record floods. While my husband and kids were tucked into a corner of our house sitting out a Tornado warning, I was in Bandera capturing what was supposed to be a surprise outdoor wedding. The guests thought they were coming for the groom’s annual birthday party bash. Yes, this day was also Mason’s birthday:)

I started at the house with getting ready shots, but as the evening unfolded and the rain continued, it became quite clear this wasn’t going down as planned. At one point, roads were closed, the reception site was flooded and the wedding was even called off. The mariachi band and stranded guests started filing in to the ranch house and the rain finally gave way to clearer skies. With a living room full of guests and a mariachi band in full swing, the bride got her hair done which made for one of my favorite moments captured below! The wedding was back on! Those that could make it to the venue, surrounded Rochelle and Mason as they said their “I Do’s” and the celebration was on! This was definitely one for the books and although it didn’t go along with plan A, it was a beautiful evening full of family, friends, and celebration! Congratulations Mason and Rochelle! Thanks for the beautiful memories that unfolded that night of the floods:)

Charisse + Harry . San Antonio, TX . Engagement

I have had so many amazing clients come my way over the years. Often they start off as strangers and soon grow into friends. However, every once in a while, I have the honor of photographing someone who is already in my life and near and dear to my heart. Such is the case here. Charisse and I met when we lived in Florida. I’m so thankful that we both landed here in San Antonio! This lady is multi-talented, hilarious and easy to love. Now she is marrying her best friend, Harry, and I get the honor of capturing it all! These two have undeniable chemistry and the laughter… oh the laughter:)Congratulations you two and much love!!

Let’s start with my favorites from the engagement session…

Byron + Edee . Boerne, TX . Wedding

Byron and Edee were married at the Don Strange Ranch, surrounded by friends and family. With their initials being B + E, they brought those together for a continuous thread throughout the day… BE… BE kind, BE generous, BE funny, BE you. BE touched every aspect of the wedding details and was so fun and playful, just like Byron and Edee:)These two are crazy about one another and emotion oozed throughout the evening. Congratulations Byron and Edee!! Thank you so much for including me!
