Ashley + Bryan . Boerne, TX . Wedding

Ashley and Bryan met as students at TCU. Bryan played baseball there, not only played, but was part of a Championship Team. He is currently playing for the Detroit Tigers minor team and LOVING it! What a gift it is to live your dream. They met one night at the local hot spot, Fuzzy’s Tacos, following a game that Ashley wasn’t even that thrilled to go to, but a friend had talked her into it. Fate has a funny way of going about things sometimes. We revisited Fuzzy’s and the TCU baseball field during their engagement session. You might remember it… here. I had so much fun that day, getting to know this couple that was completely comfortable with one another, and learn more about this TCU home they spoke so highly of. It was only natural that the TCU influence played a huge role in their wedding day. The TCU’s Horned Frogs color is Purple. The wedding was accented beautifully in purple… from Ashley’s shoes, to the flowers, the girls dresses, the reception linens and lighting. The grooms cake will go down as an all-time favorite… a replica of the TCU baseball stadium – detailed to perfection. It included the championship photo on the “big screen”. Truly a work of art! Oh and that place Fuzzy’s I mentioned, well they had chips and salsa brought in for their guests all the way from Fort Worth Fuzzy’s. Nice touch. Ashley and Bryan are smitten with one another and I wish them the best in their bright future. Oh, and did I mention the dance pics?? There were just too many to choose from. What a fun crowd! Thank you so much for including me!

Here are some of my faves…

Seeing Dad for the first time…

Did I mention Ashley’s dog was an adorable side-kick?

Ashley wrapped her Grandmother’s watch around her bouquet…

My how times have changed…

Ashley’s father hurt himself the day before and ended up on crutches, so Grandpa stepped in to finish the dance…

And Ashley pitches the cake…

Love how the inside of Ashley’s ring has her initials. What man thinks of that?? Yep, Bryan’s a keeper.

Feeding the Fuzzy’s chips and salsa…

FUNFETTI!!! Do you like this one in color or black and white?

Hi Amy, Gwen’s friend Cara here. Haven’t stalked your website for a long time, but Gwen’s post reminded me to look. Wow, are these pics amazing! The bride looks kind of like Carrie Underwood I think…AND, the pic with the confetti is outstanding. Great work!

Hi Amy, I just saw the beautiful photography work you did of Ashley and Bryan’s wedding. Yes, I know it was quite awhile ago, but I was reminiscing some of the cakes that I’ve done in the past, and decided to look up the TCU baseball diamond cake. I wanted my friend to be able to see the cake and I was excited to see it on your web page. I really like how you created a photo montage of both the wedding and groom’s cakes. Your work is phenomenal–you truly captured the essence of a beautiful couple on their special day! Unfortunately, I am no longer in the cake decorating business, but I am thankful to you for sharing your work, so that I, along with many other people may enjoy a trip down memory lane every once in awhile. God bless you!
Sincerely, Mary Jane
