Tricia + Dan . Grand Rapids, MI . Wedding

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Dan. One day, while Dan was riding the big yellow school bus, he met a girl named Tricia. They went to school together, became friends, grew up, moved away, lived life… until one day they were reconnected. Fast forward to when boy proposes to girl. Where, you ask? Why at the bus garage, in front of, yep you guessed it, a big yellow school bus. Good story, isn’t it:)Did I mention that I also went to school with this boy and girl? Dan was the oh-so-talented artist all through school. I remember thinking he was pretty amazing. And did I mention that I had the privilege of photographing their wedding?? Yep. All true. And what a beautiful wedding it was! Another fun night in Michigan, with the reception at the Van Andel Museum in Grand Rapids. Such an amazing venue! Tricia is a super sweet person and Dan is just as kind. I loved being a part of their day. Thank you for including me!

Here are some of my faves…

Dan incorporated his grandfather’s set of wings in his boutonniere. Love it!!

The adorable boy kneeling to pray and the older one standing are Tricia’s adorable sons.

They included the boys in the unity candle…

Total fun side note – The guy in the middle is Derek. Derek is a groomsman. Derek is also my husband’s bestest childhood friend. In fact, he was our best man nearly 10 years ago. Boy do I have stories about him… 😉
